This bench is the last of four that we secured from a private client who claimed they orginated from the members pavilion at Lords ground. They moved from their original home when the ground was refurbished and were relocated to Surrey cricket ground in Guildford where our client came into possession of the immense 'characters' when again, a refurbishment took place. A Victorian strap work bench of large proportions. The bench is just under 10ft long with 3 typical scrolled and cross braced legs with original oak wooden slats. Original paint now removed with slats treated and wax oiled with the iron work black grate polished. Circa 1890.
